Chitedze Research Station is a public institution, which plays an important role in generating and disseminating agricultural technologies that contribute to national food and nutrition security. The station conducts demand-driven and market oriented research on crops, livestock, soils and farm machinery; develops improved and sustainable farming systems, agro-forestry, plant genetic resource conservation; and provides technical advisory services to farmers and other stakeholders in different agricultural and related fields.

The National Nuclear Regulator (NNR) is a public entity established in 1999 and governed in terms of national nuclear legislation to provide for the protection of persons, property and the environment against nuclear damage through the establishment of safety standards and regulatory practices. The Tanzania Atomic Energy Commission (TAEC), established in 2003, is the regulatory body responsible for all atomic energy matters in the United Republic of Tanzania. The TAEC is responsible for the control of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation sources and the promotion of safe and peaceful applications of atomic energy and nuclear technology. TAEC historically played a key role in coordinating the medical and industrial application of ionizing radiation by carrying out regular inspections at ionizing radiation facilities with a view to ensuring the protection of workers. students and the public generally from harm resulting from ionizing radiation.

The West African Development Bank (BOAD) is the common development finance institution of the member countries of the West African Monetary Union (WAMU). It was established by an Agreement signed on 14 November 1973, and became operational in 1976. Member countries include Benin, Burkina, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea Bissau, Mali, Niger, Senegal, and Togo.
